OSHA EMERGENCY RESPONDER TRAINING. This 24-hour program is aimed strictly at academic and research laboratories. It will be held at Cornell University and will include response exercises in a laboratory setting. The program is being hosted by the Cornell University EH&S Department and is offered and sponsored by Advanced Chemical Safety. Dr. Neal Langerman will be the instructor. DATES: October 10, 11 and 12 Time: 8:00 am until (circa) 4:00 pm, each day Cost: $550 per person. Each participant must provide one full set of LEVELC PPE including: 2 Tyvek or equivalent suits, sized to fit, with hood and no booties 1 Air purifying respirator with an acid mist-organix vapor AND a HEPA cartridge. 1 pair chemical resistant boots 1 pair green SOLVEX gloves (to fit) 1 pair black neoprene gloves with flock lining such as BEST 6784, sized to fit very loose. Other equipment and supplies will be provided. Coffee and lunch will be provided. REGISTRATION: Go to our registration page to register by email.
