EMERGENCY RESPONSE VERSION
Purpose: The training requirements in 29 CFR 1910.120 include
annual refresher training for workers affected by the regulation. OSHA
requires the contents of this training to include certain topics specific
to the duties of the workers. This 1997 version of the Annual Refresher
is directed at EMERGENCY RESPONSE PERSONNEL. This training program
is designed to review safety and procedural concepts. Several workshops
and exercises provide increased awareness through hands-on learning.
MORNING SESSION
INTRODUCTION
DETAILED REVIEW OF 29 CFR 1910.120
Discussion of paragraph (q) of 1910.120 followed by a workshop which demonstrates
how this paragraph can be effectively implemented at facilities.

FIELD EXERCISE VERSION (On-site Programs Only)
CSA will work with Companies to develop field exercises which will give
participants hands-on review of emergency response procedures.
