Purpose: The purpose of this seminar is to provide participants with the information needed to comply with DOT and EPA Hazardous Waste Shipping Regulations. Upon completion of the training, each participant will be able to correctly complete a Uniform Hazardous Waste Manifest and will be able to properly mark and label shipping containers. Each participant must pass a written test for DOT certification as required by 49 CFR 172.700. In-house versions of this training can be customized to focus only on shipping Hazardous Materials.
