ACSafety has developed a detailed guide to chemical spill response, based on the chemical characteristics of specific chemicals.  The ChemGuide consists of a set of very specific procedures, coupled to a list of chemicals, which references the applicable procedure(s).  These procedures have been developed and refined over a period of 20 years and are known to be safe and effective. This page is large and will take some time to load.  More information can be obtained via the Feedback form on this page.

PERSONS WHO RESPOND TO CHEMICAL RELEASES MUST RECEIVE  TRAINING APPROPRIATE TO THEIR RESPONSIBILITY (29 cfr 1910.120(q)).  Please refer to the ACSafety Training page for more information.
